i dont like the fact in 1 player i cant make a season shorter than 162 games or 9 innings. i have it for ps2 and play mostly online. i would imagine its even better on xbox considering the box has superior online play.
its tough to get through a season in 1 player becuase it takes so long without skipping games, but I think playing online is a ton of fun. i got my record up to 8-21
the mini games are also very good

I'll buy it today,I'll agree I dont know why they did away with the short seasons.Like on the 2004 NBA live you can play as few as 30 games in a season.I just finished a season last wednesday playing with the Suns on the hardest level the game has and finished 5th in the west and wouldnt you know it,1st rd I had to play the Lakers best out of 5.(2004 nba live is when Shaq,malone,payton,etc was on Lakers) they kicked the **** out of me during the reg season. They won the 1st game by 1,I won the 2nd game by 3,they won 3rd game by 2,I won game 4 by 1 and game 5 Shaq hits a 6foot shot @ buzzer to send game into OT.They outscored me 14-10 in OT to advance! I was pissed but damn what a series that was.I started another season Friday night.

I wonder if the new new GTA game on PSP will be out for consoles. if not ill be pissed.
sonys contract is up with rockstar so the GTA games will no longer be PS exclusives after san andreas
playing mercenaries right now. i hate the camera, why cant it just stay fixed i mean like snap back to normal view when youre not using it. the explosions are damn cool though and using the chic kicks ass

I'm playing with the twins and on rookie level.I swept the Tigers last night,starting to get the hang of hitting a little better.I'll play on rookie as long as the games are competitive then I'll bump it up to pro if I start beating the computer bad.It is fun. What level do you play? how long have you been playing?
its a great feeling when you turn a double play or hit a HR on this game! I'm using the Twins in my season and they have a great pitching staff so just about all my games are very low scoring because I havent exactly got use to hitting yet. Thats why I say,"its a great feeling when you turn a double play or hit a HR on this game!"
The Tigers coming into Minn for a 3 game series was EXACTLY what I needed! I swept those scrubs and got my players feeling pretty good about themselves!!

i agree i love turning the dp. it took me a while before i figured out you could hit the cut off guy when its hit deep.
sometimes I have the manager out to argue calls, or if you talk to the pitcher the BP guys have more time to warm up.
hardest part is mastering the dives when the ball is just out of reach but i dont think anyone really has that down yet. it sucks when you dive and miss it costs you time its easier to just catch it on hop. lol, that is like real baseball i guess.
